- Cure For Cold
Ginger is one of the best natural remedies for the common cold. Ginger drinking – cinnamon tea and congestion significantly re-energizes your recovery.
For this tea, you will need: 1/2 teaspoon of ginger (freshly grated) cinnamon stick 1 inch, a pinch of cardamom powder (optional), a teaspoon of honey (optional)
Hot water to make ginger 1 cup and cinnamon for 15 minutes. Once the mixture is hot, add honey and cardamom powder.
Note: Never add honey in hot or boiling water, because its composition changes and does more harm than good.
- Helps In Digestion
Ginger stimulates the digestion and absorption of nutrients to stimulate the production of gastric juice and peristalsis (movement of the intestine). Is also a great cleaning of glass mobilizes toxins and improves overall health.
For tonic digestive: Mix 1 teaspoon of finely chopped ginger (can also use dry ginger powder) with a glass of water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Filter and drink.
- Helps In Relieving Joint Pains And Back Pains
The anti-inflammatory action of ginger combined with its analgesic effects can be very helpful in the pain of rheumatism or arthritis.
Apply a tablespoon of ginger paste (or freshly grated ginger), five drops of eucalyptus oil and two teaspoons of olive oil (or sesame oil). Rub the painful area and cover with a dry cloth to retain heat. Leave on for a few hours and rinse with warm water.
Caution: Do not take ginger if you have hyperacidity. And do not apply ginger paste into cuts, boils, acne, or any other injury.
